Home away from home
Both our our cottages are nestled in the Cornish countryside and represent the perfect place in which to relax, whilst also having great and quick access to everything Cornwall has to offer. Everything we do at Treworgans is geared toward making your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. If you’re unsure if we have the facilities you need, or you have any queries at all then please don’t hesitate to give us a call – we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have and to put your mind at rest that this picturesque setting is the one for you.
Just returned from a week in valley view cottage, as previously mentioned it is so good to find disabled accommodation so well equipped takes all the hassle out of trying to hire or take your own equipment with you. The location is very central with easy access to all the major attractions and if like us your into your garden then Heligan and the Eden Project and many more beautiful gardens and the coast are just a short journey away.
Treworgans Farm caters for the disabled with 2 self-catering properties. We stayed in the smaller one, Buzzard Watch, and it absolutely could not be faulted. My wife cannot stand or walk and has to be hoisted from wheelchair to bed, shower chair etc. Very, very few of the so-called disabled holiday destinations provide this kind of support so we usually have to take hoists, shower chairs etc with us which is a major inconvenience and annoyance. It was such a pleasure to discover Treworgans Farm which provides all this and more.
Buzzard Watch is a single storey cottage which sleeps 4, with full access for wheelchair users. Both bedrooms have ensuite facilities (one having a level access shower). The bedrooms can either be twin bedded or super-king size and there is also the option of an electric profiling bed in the accessible bedroom. The exposed roof timbers give a spacious and airy feel to the living areas and large patio doors lead off to the private patio area. This area can also be accessed directly from one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is electric central heating throughout in addition to a wood burner in the sitting room. A wide range of mobility equipment is available to make your stay more comfortable.View Image Gallery
