Wet Wheels – South West
Essential Information
Every day however pre-booking is essential
Experience a boat trip that is accessible to all.
Wet Wheels South West offers boat trips to all, regardless of disability. The boats have been specially designed to allow visitors the opportunity to experience sailing, and enjoy the Cornish coast! Established in 2011, the organisation has grown to Cornwall, where a boat has a permanent base in Falmouth, roughly 40 minutes from Treworgans. Whilst on the boat, you may even be accompanied by some of Cornwall’s sea life, such as dolphins, whales, and seals!
We were proud that Peter and Cynthia, our guests at Treworgans Farm Holidays were the first people to experience the boat on it’s arrival in Cornwall.

While in Falmouth
When you have been on the boat, why not have a look around the town, or visit the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, in Discovery Quay. Set across 5 stories, visitors can learn about nautical history, as well as experience a birds eye view of Falmouth from the tower! For more details, head to their website to view the accessibility guide.
A favourite of ours in Falmouth is to head up to Castle Drive, and have an ice cream whilst enjoying the panoramic views across Falmouth Bay!
From Castle Drive, head down the hill to Gylly Beach Café, where you can enjoy delicious, locally produced food, right on the beach! The café is accessible, with disabled toilets, and you can even hire a SandChair (subject to availability), whilst you are there too!
