About the Zoo
Newquay Zoo has over 1000 of the world’s rarest and endangered animals, located in a sub-tropical paradise on the North Cornish coast! There is something for everyone at the zoo; you can explore tropical rainforests, to the African Savannah, whilst still being just 20 minutes from Treworgans!
What's on
Depending on the day and times, you can enjoy feeding time with the majestic lions, the black macaques, and enjoy watching Pickles and the rest of the penguins enjoy their dinner too! The zoo was recently award Gold at BIAZA, in recognition of their excellent conservation efforts! The site is widely accessible for all their visitors.

Getting around
From the Council owned car park, which has designated wheelchair accessible spaces, (charges apply), there is a level path to the zoo entrance.
There is an accessibility map, highlighting the best routes for wheelchairs and scooters. The map can be accessed online (see the link above), or on arrival at the front entrance.
The zoo has a Changing Places toilet, which features a hoist system, changing bench, and is spacious enough for two carers to assist, should they be needed.
There is also a cafe, which has wheelchair accessible picnic benches outside the cafe.
